Whats up Team F.M. ... I think it would be cool to have threads like this letting the team know what each of us are doing behind the scenes in regards to the consistent build of Team Fusion Modified. Since most of us are not living right next door to eachother, this will be one of the best ways to keep everyone on the team aware of whats going on. Each of us should have a "Behind The Scense News & Info Thread" Informing our teammates what we are working on, and some of the things going on in our day to days. 1. Lost my #%@%%@ Cell Phone! So the line is shut off until I get time to get over to Verizon to pick up another one. If any one needs to reach me by phone, Please call my home number. E mail me @ Fusionmodified@comcast.net if you don't already have my home number. I'll leave an update letting you know when I have my new cell. 2. Working with Mishimoto Performance right now. Hannah (Mishimoto Rep) has sent me the application files for sponsorship. I will print them out, and make copies for Fusion Mod Members. It would be cool to have as many Fusion Mod rides sponsored by the same products as possible. 3. Going over the Fall Schedule of Shows that will end off the season. There are a few I'm interested in to include Wheel Concepts in Staten Island at Midland Beach on 9/21 & The Toys for Big Boys event, which is a spin-off of the OC Car Show @ the OC Convention Center on 11/1 and 11/2...I have the registration forms...Any Fusion Mod member interested let me know Asap. I know its real late in the year but It would just be hella cool to be in OC without having to pay a freakin fortune! Plus I'm hearing alot of peeps are interested in doing this show for just that reason. 4. Of course, continued scouting and searching for those with rides qualified to make the Team Fusion Modified Roster. Looking to have our limit of 15 rides for the 09 season. If any one thinks we should shoot for more than 15, let me know and we can make it happen. I've never been afraid of having a huge team. Good team managers can control a team with 3 members or 300 members 5. Will be contacting Jaime White soon in regards to having Team Fusion Modified as one of the FIRST car clubs sponsored by Opus Marketings new Viper security alarm. Again the product is due out in the 4th quarter of the year (Mid October) _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

I'm also working on a better communication system among the members of Team Fusion Modified. Its a fact that we live pretty spread apart, so thats going t make it even MORE important to come up a traditional routine way of communicating with members. This board is one avenue, but its realized that not everyone is computer friendly or frequents the computer as often as others. I think we should come up with some kind of phone contact system were members give eachother a shout at-least once or twice a month. We're not too far away from the off season, so its important to stay close in communcation and working with eachother to have that momentum running into 2009. ... REMEMBER we have people on the team that own shops and do MAJOR modification work, so before you spend your cash outside of the team to get work done, check within it first! You will save yourself a buck or two PLUS boost the team by keeping our money within it. I'M MAKING A PREDICTION RIGHT HERE AND NOW...BY MID TO LATE 2009 TEAM FUSION MODIFIED WILL BE ONE OF THE TOP 4 OR 5 CAR CLUBS RESIDING IN THE NORTH EAST!...Every show we attend, we will be a MAJOR contender for the Best Car Club award. A few more of these and more sponsors and media platforms will start to notice! _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

Today, Jamaal and I will be heading up to Harrisburgh to support Fusion Modified members Christina, Mr.V, Ponch and Harry at the WRevolution event. We'll be leaving after I get off work at 4pm I'll be focusing photo work around the entire crew representing but specifically on Harry's SICK H2 which will be added to the Fusion Mod myspace page. All 4 rides repping Fusion Modified have a GREAT shot at bringing home more awards for the team! I've also been talking to Team Emotion member Wes Bansan over the past couple of weeks. Wes is a great friend of jamaal and myself within the custom auto scene. We often have long chats with him at the shows. He resides here in Delaware. Most of you have seen Wes's 350z can attest that it just may be within the top 3 as far as custom 350Zs on the entire east coast! It would have to be within the top 10 or 15 in the Nation...10 Hot Import Night trophies can further back that claim. Wes is so impressed with Team Fusion Modified, that he wants to show with us at most of local-ish shows in 09. He will still remain a Panda aka Emotion member, but when Emotion is doing the long distant shows in which they have to ship their rides across the county, Wes wants to affiliate with Team Fusion Modified and set up with us. This is a great compliment to what we are doing so far. Wes is a VERY serious enthusiast & competitor. I'll post a pic of Wes's 350 soon. 85 to 90% of his parts all were shipped from Japan. VERY little usdm on this ride. _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

Just a reminder that Fusion Mod member "Mike" and his company "Sound of Tristate" are having one more show closing out their 08 car show series. Check the Online flyer on the Fusion Modified Myspace page for more information. This event is free and Mike already informed me that Fusion Modified can set up where ever we want. Out of support for Mike and Sound of Tristate, we definitely want to put a real good look together for this event. One to match what we did at OC/Flex. The show Is abolutely FREE registration. I'll be in contact with Christina to get our representation package ready. September is bringing in a couple of good events as well including Our own hosted event held at Ponch's Shop "Custom Hot Whips" in Lancaster PA. This event will be held on Saturday 9/20. Team Fusion Modified Rides should be there for display and Fusion Mod Members are being asked to help with hosting and judging the event. I have the judging forms that will be simple and easy to add up and calculate scores for the classes. I'm assuming the classes will be the basic format, but I'll get with Ponch on this first. After Talking to Ponch, I'll get with Fusion Mod Members and give the low down on the event. We still have to have atleast ONE physical meeting this year among Fusion Mod Members to plan out the 09 season. The type of shows we are going to compete in, Our total team look, Hotel costs, etc...etc.. All these issue need to be discussed. Christina , Mr.V and Joe have extended an invitation for us all to spend a weekend at their place for a Team meeting/ bbq, and hang out. I think this is the smartest thing to do so we all can have a serious set down and map things out. ITS NO QUESTION that we all want a successful and WINNING 2009 season. Other teams are starting to take notice that we may be the new hot ticket in town, so they will be preparing as well. Also I'm hearing a lot of people are interested in that Nov. 1st and 2nd "Toyz for Big Boyz" car show being held at the OC Convention Center. The buzz is that its going to be a pretty good size show due to the cheaper prices of hotel stays (Off-Season) at the Beach. I'm interested in doing this event...Any team member interested please let me know so I can contact Brian to get him our line up info. _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

Everyone I've been talking to is already buzzing about the 2009 car show season. Yeah, this is a little odd because even though we're on the later half of the 08 show season, there's still plenty of warm weather left. There are some real good shows that go down in the August, September and October months. OC is one of the events that set a time slot for those of us who think the car show season should stretch as far as it can here in the east. Their last event for the season is the first weekend of November. Of course HIN ends it all in Miami in December, but I don't think we gonna make that one ...Just a little to far of a drive Everyone I've talked to over the past few days has been talking about how they or their teams are regrouping and already getting prepared for new looks and new impacts for the 09 car show season. For the Fusion Mod Misfits that read this I can now confirm one thing...WE MADE A HELL OF AN IMPACT AND IMPRESSION ON THE SCENE WITH JUST ONE CLEAN SHOW. Yeah, the buzz is still going around about how we came out of no where and made the impact we did at the Flex event. This is good for us, but its also raised the eyebrows of those who now consider us a direct threat to their dominance on the scene. I know some still think we're a flash in the pan. An All-Star group that got together, but will not manage to STAY together. Yeah, these are the type we DAMN sure have to prove WRONG. Yep, everyone is talking about the last year of the decade ..09.. being their new break out year. Their coming out in full force , guns blazin...Well I say if they bring guns...Team Fusion Modified will bring CANNONS!... We'll be ready without a doubt.. _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

MISFIT Logo ... Just an example...The logo wil be in white with the word MISFIT bending over the top of the smiley face icon I'll have one of these for every Fusion Modified Member to place on their vehicle. The best places will more than likely be the quarter panel windows (driver or passenger side)...lower Rear window (left or right side)... *Got in contact with Ponch over the weekend. Everything is set for his show on the 20th of September. Custom Hot Whips has reserved spot for Fusion Modified Rides to be parked right in front of the shop showing representation of Ponch and his company. Fusion Modified Members will be judging this event, so lets show em that our show is no joke, and we judge on a FAIR basis. Also don't forget that this is also and EXCELLENT opening to scout for new members. After the judging is over, we should mingle a bit with those we think qualify for the team. I'm hoping to pick up atleast one or two new recruits out of this event. *Remember Peeps, Fusion Modified is an OPEN Forum Team when it comes to team support and keeping things moving. Everyone is a Boss, Leader, Member, Supporter, Recruiter, Head Figure, Manager etc...etc..etc... On this team. We all are the glue that keeps it together. With this said, ANY ideas, effective moves, or what ever you fill will help the team PLEASE don't be shy and put it out there. Communicating with and contacting eachother is the best way to go _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

Okay, Here's The Latest! Currently my job is working me into my new shift change over. Starting this Monday Night (actually Tuesday Morning,) I start my new 12 am to 8am shift. This is going to be SO cool, because within my line of work VERY little goes down on the 8am to 4pm shift that I've been working for years now. SUPER little goes on during the 12 am to 8am shift! This will allow me to get TONS of Fusion Modified organizing done. Literally with exception of routine minimal checks, and a couple of computer duties, 90 to 95% of my new 8 hours will be filled with NOTHING. This is cool with me! My days of work like this: I will be off on Sundays and Mondays...Total shift and days off description = 12am to 8am with Sundays / Mondays off. But this is actually the weekend PLUS all day and evening on Monday. See because its 12 to 8. When I get off on Saturday morning at 8 am. I do not return to work until Monday Night @ 12am. So that's all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Off. Almost a 3 day time frame. I took this shift and days of to get much more involved in what we all here do and love. This will BIG TIME increase my participation in car shows and events . For distant, early registration car show, or weekend car shows in which we have to load in on Fridays, I'll simply request for that Friday Off. In 09 there will only be 2 maybe 3 car shows in which we'll have to load in on Friday...Maybe less, because HIN is going to all Night Shifts for the North East in 09. Right now I'm only seeing the O9 OC Car show "East Coast Nationals" as the only show in which we have to load in on Friday. I'm looking forward to doing my part in helping bring Fusion Modified MANY more Individual and Best Team Trophies and awards! Our 09 schedule will be filled with the best and most worthy car shows and events. _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!

OK, here's the latest.... Everyone send Rick a get well wish...Rick had to have surgery on his leg due to an enlarged vien that was forming a blood clot. He'll be laid up for a couple of days, but ready to rock for the Custom Hot Whips event on the 20th. GET WELL SOON RICK! Talked to Brian from the OC car show. 1. Team Fusion Modified can have any spot it wants at the Toyz For Big Boyz event. Main or C room...Of course I want the Main room, simply because its a helluva lot easier to get into. He wants us to sign up through the online registering form for this particular event. I'll send the e mail link to all members. Registration fees are around 35 bucks and electric costs 20 bucks for this particular event. Brian and the rest of his company was so impressed with what we did at Flex, they want us to pretty much bring the same set up... Also at this event we can do WHATEVER WE WANT...Anything extra is encouraged! I'll deff have some RCs drifting around the place, so JOE if you're coming, be sure to bring the RC Drift rides *Again, this event is going down on the 1st weekend of November. You can click onto OC/TOYZ FOR BIG BOYS to get the registration form and register your ride. Don't forget to put Team Fusion Modified as your club. They need a specific count for spacing. 2. In the process of building a Team Fusion Modified RC Road Course , RC Off-Road, and RC Drift racing team. Just more good competitive fun for interested Fusion Modified Members. There are Various RC racing tracks in the Quad state area. Having a Fusion Modified RC racing team will be another unique quality of Team Fusion Modified. Trust me...This IS promo leverage as well. 3. Will be contacting Jamie White of OPUS Marketing (Kicker) within the next two weeks in regards to that new Viper security alarm sponsorship offer. Again this new "a head of its time" alarm is due out in mid october. _________________ For Enthusiasts...By Enthusiasts!
