To that extra bling out of any type of chrome , use any good quality car wax as your follow up to Mothers Chrome Polish. My Motegi DPK-5 Chromes are almost 3 years old now. They've been under weather stress, snow, rain, you name it, and people STILL ask me are my wheels new?
As you already know, chrome is something you definitely have to stay on top of if you want to keep that mirror finish going. I treat my Motegi's with a once over of Mothers Chrome polish in which I let stand and dry for 10 to 15 minutes after the first coating. After Removing the Mothers Polish, I give the wheels coat of quality wax. Usually I let the wax do its thing for about 20 to 30 mins before removing. The end product is WELL worth the time and effort! A set of chromes that one needs to wear sunglasses to look at! Thank God I have a home with a garage now, but never the less I stick with this method of keeping that mirror shine on my Chrome DPK-5s .
