I don't know you made the list of car types, but they should be smacked. (lol) No Audi, damn. They could have least thown Audi in with VW or something.

Anyway, as I said before I have a 03 Audi A4. It is curently a bone stock 1.8t w/ Quattro. I have big plans for its future. My previous ride was a 98 VW Jetta, so if you can tell I like "eruo" cars. Anyone with knowledge of german autos my ears are open for sugestions and more.

PostSubject: Warranty   Sun Aug 10, 2008 1:15 am

Late last week I took the A4 to the local Audi dealer to do the scheduled 80,000 mile maintenance. I also had them take a look at this little noise that the car made ever since I got it. The noise sounded kinda like an unbalanced tire or a tire with low pressure but you only heard it when pressing the gas. So I get a call for a former SPX member, Isaac, which happens to be a tech at the shop. Basically the first thing he said was you need a new tranny Crying or Very sad . No car owner ever wants to here that so you can imagine my reaction. My first question was "Is it covered in my warranty?” Isaac said he was not sure and would find out and call me back. My next question was "How much is a new tranny?” Answer "6 grand plus labor". So anyway after picking my chin up from off the floor Isaac called back and joking said that it was not covered in the warranty. I didn't think that was funny at all. So I'm getting a new tranny for the $50 deductible of the warranty. I putting a little out to get a new clutch and flywheel be nothing compared to the cost of the transmission. Thank God for warranties Very Happy .

D*mn Ray you better count your lucky starts bro!...Hey man we have some people on the Fusion Mod team that have good shops that do good work. You can talk to members like Christina and Ponch in regards to getting some preliminary work done to your ride. They do excellent work and of course being a Fusion Mod member, they're willing to work more than reasonable deals. Just spreading the info.
